Finally, we are so happy to announce that we have our official opening date from the government.
Firstly we hope you, your family and friends are safe and well.
We are pleased to let you know that we will be open for business on Saturday 4th of July. Sadly this does not include beauty treatments but we hope this will soon change.
Making an appointment
We know you want to get in as soon as possible, but please bear with us while we work through our priority list of those who have been cancelled throughout lockdown.
We will then be calling the rest of our regular clients and this may take some time. To minimise the volume of people in reception and help with social distancing, if you need to get in touch please phone us and only come to the salon for your scheduled hair or beauty appointment. Please come to your appointment alone as we have no waiting area available at this time.
Your visit
We realise as exciting as this is for us, some of you may still be a little nervous about coming into the salon, so to reassure you here are the extra health & safety measures we are taking. These may be adjusted once we have further guidelines from our governing bodies…
Our team will greet you without close contact but still smiling from beneath their visors. If possible, please provide your own clean mask which must loop behind your ears to enable us to work on your hair. If you wish, you may purchase a disposable mask from us for £1. To protect you, ourselves and other customers we highly recommend wearing a face covering throughout your appointment, however, this is optional.
On arrival, you will be asked to use our hand sanitiser which is easily positioned just inside the door as you enter. Please also use this as you leave. Other sanitiser is available throughout the salon for your use.
During parts of your service disposable gloves will be worn by our team and you may wear a disposable gown.
All staff are following strict hygiene guidelines and we ask you to do the same – please place any used paper towels and tissues straight in the available bins after use. Sanitising or washing your hands after coughing/sneezing is compulsory – singing whilst washing is optional! Staff will also be washing their hands thoroughly between clients and appointments.
To ensure social distancing for you, we are opening 7 days a week and splitting our staff, having a maximum of 9 dedicated stylists in the salon at any one time. If you are a vulnerable, high risk client please let your stylist know as we have some quieter days or our private room downstairs that may be more suitable for you.
Unfortunately there will be no refreshments or magazines available, but please feel free to bring your own to make the most of your relaxation time in the salon.
Team members will be sanitising all work areas, seats, basins and equipment after use between each and every client. Door handles, handrails and bathrooms will be regularly sanitised throughout the day.
Please ask for help when purchasing retail products to minimise touching them unless you are definitely making a purchase. We will gladly set aside any products for you to purchase at the end of your service.
Payments and future bookings may be dealt with by your stylist at their work station to reduce the number of people at reception. Please pay by card, preferably contactless when possible, instead of cash. Our revised hairdressing price list is now available to view on our website. Please check with your stylist at the time of booking if you have any price enquiries.
Finally I’d like to thank you for supporting us during this time, it will be a very new way for us to work but we’ll make sure it’s an enjoyable visit for you!
We can’t wait to see you and make you look fabulous!
Shelley and the Team
